May, 29-2026- These heartfelt words from Dr. Hermogenes M. Paguia, President, Philippine Association of Agriculturist Tamarind Chapter during the closing program are a reminder that the success of the International Mushroom Congress and National Forum on the Future of Mushrooms 2026 was never about hosting aloneโit was about the people who made it possible.
As this remarkable gathering comes to a close, ASCOT extends its deepest gratitude to every individual and institution that contributed to its success. To our delegates, researchers, scientists, government agencies, industry partners, farmers, entrepreneurs, students, volunteers, and guests from across the Philippines and around the worldโthank you for sharing your knowledge, experiences, passion, and vision for the future of mushrooms.
As host of this year's congress, under the leadership of ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, we are honored to have welcomed a community bound by a common purpose: advancing mushroom science, innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.

To our plenary speakers and resource persons who generously shared their expertise;
to our moderators and evaluators who guided meaningful discussions;
to our oral and poster presenters who showcased their research and innovations;
to our partner institutions, collaborators, sponsors, and supporters;
and to the organizing committees and countless individuals working behind the scenesโthis is for you.
๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช for your dedication, commitment, patience, and countless hours of work. Thank you for helping create not only a successful congress, but also a space where ideas flourished, partnerships were strengthened, and friendships were formed.
For just two unforgettable days, we witnessed scientists, government leaders, educators, industry stakeholders, farmers, entrepreneurs, and mushroom enthusiasts come together as one community. That, more than anything else, is what made this congress truly special.
From ASCOT, with love and gratitude, thank you very much.
