MABUHAY, WPU-CET! This one is for the whole University! 🎉
The Western Philippines University–College of Engineering and Technology (WPU-CET) proudly celebrates an outstanding display of engineering excellence, innovation, and technical brilliance at the DOST S.M.A.R.R.T. Palawan Competition 2026, held on September 10–11, 2026, at SM City Puerto Princesa!
Our brilliant student representatives proudly brought home remarkable achievements across technology-driven categories:
🏆CHAMPIONS — Combat Robot Category
🥇1ST RUNNER-UP — 3D Modelling and Printing Category
🥇1ST RUNNER-UP — Great Innovation Pitch Competition
These achievements are more than medals and titles—they are a powerful reflection of what WPU-CET students can achieve. From designing and developing solutions to testing ideas in a highly competitive environment, our students proved that engineering goes beyond the classroom.
Behind every achievement is the dedication of our students, the guidance of our coaches and mentors, and the unwavering support of the College of Engineering and Technology and its Electrical Engineering Department. Special recognition goes to Engr. Ivane Ann P. Banlawe, Ma’am Cherry Lyn C. Magbanua, and Sir Brendon Jay Silverio for their invaluable guidance and support.
