𝗔𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗣𝗨.

After days of designing, reviewing, revising, and gathering suggestions and feedback from our fellow WPUians, we are now presenting the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗣𝗨 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀.

The proposed jacket designs aim to provide a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that students may wear while representing Western Philippines University.

The proposed designs maintain the distinct identity and colors of WPU while offering a modern and unified look suitable for university activities, events, and campus wear. 💙🩵🤍

As an optional university apparel, the jacket may be worn by WPUians who choose to have and wear it. The proposed designs are intended to be available to all students regardless of gender, allowing everyone to choose the design they are most comfortable and confident wearing.

The designs were developed with consideration for comfort, functionality, versatility, design, color combination, practicality, and overall representation of WPU.

The proposed designs aim to provide a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗘 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 that supports students during physical education classes, physical activities, and other related university activities.

As part of the gender-inclusive approach, the proposed PE uniform is designed to be 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗣𝗨𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, allowing students to choose the option they are most comfortable wearing while maintaining a unified WPU identity.

This proposal 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝘀 to provide a more 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 that recognizes the diverse preferences and needs of our students.

The proposed designs include different uniform options while maintaining the identity and distinct color touch of Western Philippines University. 💙🩵🤍

🌿 CAFES THURSYAY: A DAY WELL SPENT! 🌿

What a Thursday it was! 🎉 The College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences once again showed what CAFES spirit truly means — full of energy, unity, and non-stop fun! 🌾🌳

From intense card games ♠ and board games 🎲, to fierce badminton matches 🏸, groovy Zumba sessions 💃, epic Chinese garter showdowns 🤸, soulful karaoke moments 🎤, and a relaxing movie marathon 🎬 — this event truly had something for everyone!

Every game, every song, and every dance move brought our CAFES family closer together. Seeing everyone's smiles and hearing the cheers made this day an unforgettable success! 🙌

Thank you to all who joined, participated, and shared their energy — you made this Thursday one for the books! Here's to more fun-filled days ahead. 🌱

In response to inquiries regarding the suspension of the wearing of the University Uniform, the Office of the WPU-FSSC and Student Regent is 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.

The 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 were posted 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐏𝐔-𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐒𝐒𝐂) 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞, as the information was communicated by the concerned student leaders, including the SSC President, FSSC President, and Student Regent.

As 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, the new/revised University Uniform design is currently being finalized, and the official design options and further details will be released once the process has been finalized.

The Office of the WPU-FSSC and Student Regent is sharing these materials to ensure that the information is accessible and properly communicated to students across the different WPU campuses.
