On February 18, 2026, Western Philippines University participated in a meaningful collaborative meeting with DSWD 4Ps to explore potential areas of partnership and expand interventions aimed at uplifting the lives of Palaweños. Ms. Faith T. Crispino, the Provincial Link of DSWD-4Ps Palawan, along with her team members, Ms. Richelle Ann Andes and Ms. Noemie Bacosa, presented the objectives and possible areas for partnership, which would greatly benefit the program's beneficiaries.

The event was attended by Doc Romeo R. Lerom, OIC VPAA, and various representatives from each college. The Social Work Program was represented by Mr. Jade R. Baguna and Ms. Mae A. Namoco.
