๐โจ A NEW CHAPTER OF LEARNING BEGINS: APURAWAN NHS INAUGURATES ITS MODERN LIBRARY AND LEARNING HUB โจ๐
APURAWAN, ABORLAN, PALAWANโ A remarkable milestone in the pursuit of quality education was celebrated at Apurawan National High School on June 5, 2026, with the successful turn-over and inauguration of its Modern Library and Learning Hub. The project marks a significant step forward in providing learners with an innovative, comfortable, and technology-enhanced space that promotes reading, research, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
The Modern Library and Learning Hub was generously donated by Mr. Stephen Michael Burnich, Founder of PINOkids, together with his wife, Ms. Margarita Aquino, and the entire PINOkids Family. Their generosity reflects a shared vision of empowering young minds through access to quality educational resources and a conducive learning environment.
The turn-over ceremony gathered education leaders, local government officials, community stakeholders, parents, teachers, and students in a celebration of partnership and commitment to learning. Among those in attendance were Mr. Nelson Mediadero Jr., Public Schools District Supervisor of Aborlan West; Hon. Danilo Cortez, represented by Hon. Ramon Garcia, Barangay Kagawad of Apurawan; Hon. Rafael Ortega III, Sangguniang Bayan Member; Engr. Bernie Balo of CYP and DOST; Mr. Jeto Conejos, PTA President; Ms. Vinelyn B. Almenso, School Principal; members of the PINOkids Family, parents, faculty members, and students.
The program opened with messages emphasizing the importance of collaboration among government agencies, private organizations, and the school community in advancing educational opportunities for learners. A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of a Resolution of Commendation, Appreciation, and Gratitude by Hon. Rafael Ortega III in recognition of the invaluable contributions of Mr. Stephen Michael Burnich and the PINOkids Family.
The resolution acknowledged their unwavering support, generosity, and dedication to improving the educational experiences of learners through the establishment of the Modern Library and Learning Hub.
In her welcome remarks, Ms. Vinelyn B. Almenso, School Principal, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the donors and partners whose efforts made the project possible. Following the program, guests and participants proceeded to the second floor of the Administration Building for the official ribbon-cutting and turn-over ceremony.
