Brikiti Junior High School has lost it's Grade 7 student over the two weeks holiday of term 2 break 2023. The victim of death was found to be an unexpected killing on the Sunday, 25th of June 2023 during the Yam ceremony festival at Apangai 1 village. The victim was transported to Boram General Hospital mog and rested for three weeks (3) while negotiations being under way to find out the victim of death.

Today marked the burial ceremony of this young victim (Steven Hitsco Kelly) at Apangai 1 community.

People gathered to attend the funeral ceremony were the;
✓AoG Apangai Local church pastors; including Rev. Pastor Tobby Nongi, Pastor Isaiah Muliwara and others.
✓Brikiti Junior High School principal Mr Rowan Lonis, students, stuffs and it's board of members.

-Jikinimbu and the immediate family and friends of Late Steven Hitsco Kelly.

AoG Northern Region of Maprik District Youth camp is currently underway in BRIKITI.
Started on Tuesday 4th June and will end on Friday 7th June 2023.
