On the morning of June 3, 2025, a rare celestial event known as a "planetary parade" will occur, featuring the alignment of six planets—Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—along the ecliptic path. While this alignment is a notable astronomical occurrence, visibility to the naked eye will be limited. Mars and Saturn will be the most prominent, visible without optical aid in the pre-dawn sky. Mercury and Jupiter may be observable near the horizon shortly before sunrise, but their proximity to the sun's glare makes them challenging to spot without binoculars or a telescope. Uranus and Neptune, being much fainter, will require a telescope for observation. Additionally, a delicate crescent moon will accompany the display, adding to the visual spectacle. For optimal viewing, find a location with a clear eastern horizon and minimal light pollution before dawn on June 3.
