The Media Education Seminars 2026 have reached its climax with the Overnight session at Sivarai Namona Pastoral Centre last May 1-2, 2026, Friday to Saturday of Week 3.

The Grade 11 participants from St Josephs, together with students from eight other Catholic institutions have tackled the topic of Short Filmmaking, preparing their short films on the theme: "Voices and Faces in an AI Age." This is also good practice as they prepare to join this year's St Carlo Acutis Short Film Festival, set to be screened in October.

The students of St Josephs enjoyed and learned as much as they could from the overnight and are eager to practice what they have learned as they prepare for their film festival short film entry.

Joey’s Day Out at Nature Park
The Grade two classes of St Joseph’s International Catholic College have taken an excursion trip to Nature Park today. They have studied Places in Geography and Living Things and Non-Living Things in Science. The aim of this excursion is to deepen their knowledge between living things and their environment.
Getting out of the classroom and into the real world was truly an exciting moment for everyone. They explore the plants, animals and their habitats. They have a feel to the real natural environment as explores and scientists and are looking forward to more stimulating lessons and adventures in future.

The Grade 1CH and 1CM students with their teachers had their learning in Science and HSIE lessons beyond the classroom walls in Week 9, Term 1. With the educational tone, "Where curiosity meets nature" they explored and learnt about Living Things, Natural/Constructed/Managed Features. It was a fun-filled day of nature vibes with their reflection; β€œIn every walk with nature, we gain more than we seek”.
