POMNA came to a standstill yesterday afternoon as Haidana Lighting took on premiership favourites VEUPUNAMA.

This game had some feeling in it, as athletes had moved from 1 club to another and the tension in the air.

Some physical play that had the Saturday afternoon sun rays on its edge!.
The crowed wooed at the brilliance of Kala Ali of Veupu in the shooting circle.
For Haidana it was the return of Andrew sisters the younger sibling of Waisame in the midcourt, veteran Rayleen at shooting and Isabelle with her hustle no nonsense defense.

In the end the Margaret Opina coach Veapu proved too strong but we are sure veteran Coach Ani Iamo of Haidana would’ve taken a lot out of the game and will be back stronger in Rd2.
