This post was from 30 March 2022. Miss Beatrice was selected on behalf of GEM TORAH MISSION SCHOOL to join Digicel Foundation Pilot Program in partnership with IEA College of TAFE to undergo Childhood Development and Care Training.

An Early Childhood Education Superstar!

Beatrice Tomonu is an early childhood teacher for Gem Torah Mission School located at ATS first block on the outskirts of Port Moresby and she is one of the eight (8) teachers from the Central Province Batch that were trained through our Pilot Program in partnership with IEA College of TAFE. Through this partnership she attained her Certificate 2 in Childhood Development and Care.

Throughout the course, the 22 year old was recognized for her outstanding performance and was rewarded for it. "I wasn't expecting the Outstanding Student Award because I have seen the effort my other batch mates have put in and being the only one without experience in this group it's overwhelming", Beatrice Tomonu.
