PNG Top Performing Schools in Grade 10 - 2025

The Papua New Guinea Education Department has released the official list of the Top Performing Schools for the 2025 Grade 10 National Examinations, following the announcement made by Education Minister Lucas Dekena and Secretary for Education Dr. Uke Kombra. The results highlight schools that demonstrated outstanding academic performance across both government and private sectors.
According to the examination data, La Salle Technical Secondary School emerged as the top-performing government school for Grade 10, maintaining its strong reputation for academic excellence. Brandi Secondary School and Pitipias Secondary School followed closely, securing second and third place respectively. Other high-ranking institutions include K**a SDA Secondary, Kopen Hagen Secondary, Mercy Secondary, and Gordon Secondary School.

In the private school category, PNG Paradise College took the number one spot, reaffirming its consistency in delivering strong academic outcomes. It was followed by St Joseph’s International College, Kopkop College, and Nonu Institute Secondary among other notable performers.

As 2025 academic school year has come to a close, all our students have now gone on holiday.

2025 Awards Presentation Day

Tuesday 2nd December, 2025, marks the 20th Awards Presentation Day for the Institute of Christian Academy
held at Kennedy Estate Campus for the very first time.

This Awards Presentation Day is not only for our students but also to our proud and supportive parents. It was the result of their hard work and a year of intense studies, which culminated to presentation of awards.

The students, teachers and parents were present on this day to celebrate the achievement, dedication, and outstanding performances of students from ABC to grade 6 using the Accelerated Christian Education and PNG National Curriculum from grades 7, 9, and 11.

A huge congratulations to all our awardees for their hard work and dedication.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the administration, faculty, parents, and everyone who helped make this event a success.

Insitute of Christian Academy Celebrates Class of 2025 Preschool & Kindergarten Graduation

Today marks a significant milestone, as ICA celebrated the graduation of its 21st Preschool and 4th Kindergarten graduation with a special ceremony recognizing the students' hard work and achievements this year. The event, held at ICA2 Campus Boroko saw proud parents, dedicated teachers, and beaming graduates come together to mark the transition to the next stage of their educational journey.

The ceremony, which included students recital of their sounds, alphabet and award presentations.

The guest speaker was Pastor Peter Kuipa of PNG Bible Church Boroko. He emphasized on building good foundation intellectually, physically, socially, mentally and spiritually. These young graduands must be taught with good spiritual values.

The event also served as a moment to acknowledge the commitment of the school's faculty. "The dedication and passion of our teachers and staff have been instrumental in shaping these young minds. Their tireless work has created an environment where our students could thrive, and we are incredibly grateful for their contributions.

Today we celebrate not just the end of a school year, but the beginning of a lifetime of learning. These children have learned so much, not just from books, but from each other, and we are so proud of the bright, creative, and determined individuals they are becoming.

As the students move on to the next grade, we wish them well on their future adventures. The preschool and kindergarten graduates are now one step closer to achieving their big dreams, ready to take on new challenges and discoveries.

To the parents — thank you for trusting us with your children and being our partners in nurturing their early education. To our amazing teachers — your patience, dedication, and love have helped shape curious minds and kind hearts.

And to our graduates — congratulations! You’ve made us proud, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next.

Today (21/11/2025), we graduated 240 students both Kindergarten and Preschool.

The Institute of Christian Academy is looking forward to another graduation day for the Kindergartens and Preschoolers on Friday 21st, November 2025.

ACE is about changing the world one child at a time. This special young people are the agents of change for any society, if we can start teaching Godly principles and good values of life at an early age.

And this graduands, we believe will become good leaders PNG needs.

We look forward to seeing them on Friday to receive their awards to move on to their next level of their learning.

It’s graduation season! This is a busy time for schools, students, and families as graduation ceremonies take place all around the country. Institute of Christian Academy was no exception.

On Friday 14th November, 2025, ICA had their Graduation and Awards Presentation for Grades 8, 10 and 12. This was the 10th graduation for grade 8, 11th graduation for grade 10 and the 5th graduation for grade 12.

A total of 68 students graduated. This ceremony was witnessed by families friends, and teaching staff.

During this graduation ceremony, saw 100s of parents and families cheering the students on as they cross the stage with huge smiles on their faces to receive their awards and certificates.

This year was so special as ICA introduced a Director's Scholarship to three students in grades 8, 10 and 12.
Also (ITI) International Training Institute full scholarship was awarded to a year 12 student for studies in 2026.

Furthermore, ICA took an initiative to present every outgoing grade 12 student with the Bible, reminding them that the word of GOD is the key for their success. And this will be an annual practice from this year going forward.

It was indeed a wonderful time of celebration as these students look to close out their high school career and move on to their next steps in creating their future success. Undoubtedly, it’s a day that matters to more than just the graduates.
