On behalf of UPNG ESSU, we extend our heartfelt congratulations. 🥳

Your hard work, your sacrifices, and your resilience have brought you to this milestone. It was not easy but you made it.🤝

As you step out from the university into the real world, remember this: you carry more than just a certificate. You carry the hopes of your families, the strength of East Sepik, and the responsibility to contribute meaningfully to our province and our country. 🇵🇬

Wherever life takes you, whether into government, business, education, or community service never forget where you come from.

Stay grounded, stay humble, and always be willing to give back.

ESSU will always remain your home. You are now part of a growing network of leaders and change-makers.

We look forward to seeing you rise, and we also look forward to walking with you as partners in development.

We challenge you to go out there and make an impact. Lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and build a legacy that others will follow. 🔥🫡

East Sepik Provincial Administration

Officers in Charge – East Sepik Provincial Subsidy Program.
Wewak, East Sepik Province 2025.

Subject: Final Call for Immediate Processing of UPNG East Sepik Students Subsidy – 2025 Academic Year

This letter serves as a final and urgent call to the East Sepik Provincial Subsidy Offices to immediately process the outstanding 2025 subsidy payments for East Sepik students currently enrolled at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG).

The official academic year has now concluded, yet the Administration and Accounts Office at UPNG remains open. We therefore appeal for your immediate intervention to ensure that the subsidy funds are released before the university closes for Christmas.

Throughout Semester Two, our Union has made numerous follow-ups, but the process has been delayed, miscommunicated, and prolonged without any tangible outcome.
It is frustrating and disheartening that while other provincial subsidies were released earlier this year, East Sepik students have been continuously assured, delayed, and misled.

Please be reminded that failure to settle these dues this year will result in students being rejected from registration next year, as per the university’s new administrative policy under the new Vice-Chancellor.

We therefore urge your office to treat this matter with absolute urgency and ensure that payments are processed no later than this week.

Your immediate attention and action will demonstrate the East Sepik Provincial Government’s genuine commitment to supporting its students’ education and welfare.

Thank you for your understanding and anticipated cooperation.

President, UPNG East Sepik Students Union (ESSU) 2025.
