Today ends 2 days of training on Records Management and Archiving with NISIT in association with PNGIBBM and Ace CT.

We all had a blast fun filled learning and are better off. Whilst working with global standards and organizational values I am sure that Working Group will shift NISIT to the next level. I look forward to your inputs to the organization and what you intend to produce in the next few months.

Training is applicability of knowledge and skills

10 days to walking into 2022. 2021 has been most worth with great challenges worthy of mention.

Our COVID-19 TOT in partnership with WaterAid(PNG) saw us learning a lot about our (PNG) culture with regards to social distance or more spatial distancing. Different cultures have either more or less spatial distancing, which contributes to how far one is from the next person. Our respect and appreciation of our cultural heritage also is significant in this regard.

In one cultural setting, hugging is a sign of respect and love as well as hand shakes. You can hug each other after just an hour of seeing each other. And again. Where as in some, a hand shake is just as effective. In some a bow or nod of acknowledgement is good enough. Male female spatial distance is all different in different settings as well as in law relationships.

With the enslaught of the pandemic, this contributed significantly to covid19 including community transmission.

Here we were in Kavieng and Alotau and Pari in POM. towards the end of 2021...and more to come in 2022.Christine Sumbuk

It has been a while..here we are doing the best we can. CoViD -19 ToT. Mis- information is settings us back, including the word 'vaccination'. In my line of duty, language use is important. I wish NDoH would have used the word 'immunization', though WHO goes with the word 'Vaccination'. Ol lain lo ples save lo word immunization. Olsem polio immunization, baby immunization. Ating Sapos yumi usim word 'immunization', bai yumi ken daunim fear blo vaccine blo CoViD 19..Covid ToT in kimbe and hagen in July 2021.

Last week we got to do the COVID19 Awareness and Responsiveness TOT with Anglicare -Oro.

90% mis-information is out there due to negative information on social media from unreliable source.

We need information from reliable and trustworthy sources which unfortunately has not reached rural PNG. Information is necessary to make informed choices. A lot more work is needed to dispel myths FAQs.

A CPP funded program that WaterAid(PNG) has initiated.

ACE facilitated a 1 day workshop for Abt Associates and DFAT-AHC on WASH Minimum Standards for Markets in PNG.
I told my story that 30 years ago I entered a public toilet and never again did I enter one. As a female I am mindful of safety, hygiene, dignity and equality. 80% of users are female. With push from the DPM&NEC, I hope we can achieve this and not another 30 years.🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬my country my life, my love
