Gordons Primary School (1969-Current)

Gordons Primary School (1969-Current) Was built in 1968 and opened its doors in 1969. Gordons Primary was a multi-racial school with classes from Prep up to Grade 6.

A lot of Australian children attended this school as their parents had work commitments in Port Moresby at the time. The original uniform for the girls was a Gordon Tartan print simple sleeveless round neck dress and the boys wore the Gordon Green shirt with grey shorts. This unform then changed to checks about 1973.
