Pacific Maritime Training College (PMTC) The PACIFIC MARITIME TRAINING COLLEGE (PMTC) was established in 2008

The PACIFIC MARITIME TRAINING COLLEGE (PMTC) was established in 2008 with the following objectives:

•Provide training for existing unqualified seafarers in PNG

•Provide training for PNG & Pacific Islander people who want to have a career path in the Maritime Industry

•Provide Short Course Training for the shipping companies and their staff, and the regulators of the Maritime Industry

•Extend training to all areas of the Maritime Industry

•Deliver training to both sea based and shore based personnel

•Provide employment opportunities domestically and internationally through PACIFIC MARINE CREWING AGENCY

•Deliver continual training programmes through the internet

•Utilize our two (2) training vessels, the Pacific Trainer and the Pacific Sailor, to deliver floating training programs to other Maritime Provinces in PNG. These training vessels will sail to the provinces and the trainees will embark and will be trained in a real marine life environment.
