Read, Write and Speak English

It's frightening to know that my Creator hates a lustful, wicked, deceitful and sinful heart.

Many of the world's most famous and rich people are excellent readers. They go to book shops two or three times a week to purchase reading books. They spend two to three hours a day from their very busy schedule to read. They even have libraries within their house and bed rooms. Many were not able to read all their collectios but they do read as much as possible.
Actress Merylyn Monroe, Abraham Lincoln, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are book worms. They are addicted to reading and made reading habitual. Reading became part of their life. They don't read for pleasure or leisure only but collect informations they lack. They never attended highest reading institutions or Universities to develop reading habits but got what they needed from books alone when reading became normal to them.

Books contain various knowledge in different ways, sizes, contexts, contents and shapes. It can make nobody to somebody. For instance; Dr Ben Carson was nothing but the world now knows who Dr Carson is because BOOKS made him a famous person. Reading open doors to underlying opportunities and can transform nothing to something.
So encourage your children to read as much as they can. Only reading will give them success and prosperity...Let us READ children, grab a book and start to read as early as possible. You will not regret later.

Lacking these vital skills will surely affect the general learning ability and process of a child) student. English Language skills are attained through strict practice and training. It doesn't comes easily and for granted...
In the past we were taught phonics very early as the first step to make way ahead. Then Reading : peer reading, reading homework, individual reading presentation, reading and comprehension and many more to build and enhance our reading abilities. Writing English varies from spelling and dictation, short stories, poems, narratives, comprehensions and more. Speaking English was always harder but school rules were enforced regarding English Speaking at all times. We also did many practices through class presentations. We developed the habit of telling stories in English during our free times despite mistakes in almost every sentence said/told.
All these efforts enabled many of us to Read, Write and Speak better English today. Nothing comes easily when you want to know and master English Language..
Remember: More Training makes one becomes better...

English language is our lingua franca. It is a universal language, widely accepted and spoken in many different countries. PNG is no exception.

Our Education system accepts English language as the medium of instruction in the teaching and learning processes, not pidgin nor vernicular. The curriculum and subjects are all printed in English.

The prerequisites for mastering and acquiring the skills of English language is ; Reading, Writing and Speaking. Those who are able to read, write and speak good English are most likely to be successful in academic fields.

English is a foreign language so it is often hard to learn and accept in any instances. It still remains as the greatest challenge for many. Our children are being introduced to this strange language so many deliberately fail to acquire and master it in the course of learning. It requires a lot of training and practices in order to learn English language.

Our children lack discipline in learning and mastering English language. Some of their English Teachers can hardly teach appropriate English accordingly.
