🌿 World Environment Day 2025 Celebration 🌿

We sincerely thank our honoured guest, Miss Bird of Paradise, Ms. May Torowi Hasola and her committee for joining us and making our World Environment Day program truly special. Her presence brought inspiration and encouragement to both students and staff.

Due to the Grade 10 Written Expression Exam on the 5th of June, the school decided to commemorate World Environment Day on the 6th of June instead.

The event was filled with meaningful activities. Primary students presented heartfelt poems inspired by the theme "Combating Plastic Pollution", expressing their concern for the environment and hope for a better future. High school students delivered powerful essay speeches focused on environmental awareness and sustainable action.

One of the most exciting parts of the program was the Fashion Show, where our Early Learning students designed and showcased creative costumes made entirely from recycled plastics. This unique display beautifully reflected the theme of the year: “Combating Plastic Pollution.”

During the celebration, a student was honoured with the Eco Champion Award for taking the initiative to clean the school without being told, demonstrating outstanding responsibility and care for our environment.

Students also had the opportunity to interact with Miss Bird of Paradise during a Q&A session. When asked by a teacher what message she would like to share with the students, she said:
“Work hard towards your purpose and your aims.”

We are truly grateful to Miss Bird of Paradise for her time, wisdom, and encouragement. Her visit added great value to our celebration and reminded us all of the importance of caring for our planet. 🌍💚
