Certificate IV Training.

In general, a Certificate IV comprises of a minimum 10 units of competency.
Each unit in general requires the candidate to perform a minimum of 40 hours of study in addition to completing all assessment tasks.

The assumption is all assessment tasks are completed to the required standards upon first submission. If a repeat or second submission is required additional hours must be added to the minimum 40hrs to obtain a credit result in that single Unit of Competency.

Putting all in perspective a Certificate IV if studied full-time would take a minimum of two and a half months to complete based upon standards achieved within first submission. If second submission required, a Certificate IV would take nothing less than 6 months to complete from start to finish.

If a training provider indicates a Certificate IV in 1 week, you would need to review that provider's credibility and lawful accreditation prior to payment of fees and enrollment.

Units of Competency
These units of competency have been developed with industry experts who draw upon real-life case studies and examples to ensure the knowledge you gain is practical and applicable to your role.

Study duration is dependent on your existing skills and experience. Typically, to complete within the specified course duration, it is recommended that students commit approximately 16 hours towards study per week.
Maximum time duration for the course is 24months from commencement of first unit.
The learning plan is to complete a single Unit of Competency each month.

Three modes of learning available:

• Face to Face (Port Moresby Only at this stage) 8am-4pm
• Semi Face to Face and Distance (Port Moresby Only at this stage) this is ideal for students attending classes as night school. 6pm-10pm
• Distance Learning (No face to Face required) this method is ideal for full time workers.

All modes have continuous access to trainer/assessor via email.

Cost for ALL 10 Units of Competencies is K4,400.00 per person inclusive of GST.

In preparation for an expanding travel and tourism industry, A.D Training introduces the Certificate III in Aviation (Cabin Crew).

The program consists of 10 units of competency in addition to Provide First Aid and CPR, Dangerous Goods Awareness, Responsible Service of Alcohol, Safe Food Handling, Safe Manual Handling and First Attack Fire Fighting over 27 days of norminal delivery.

A.D Training is proud to announce the introduction of TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2023.

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment, services in the Vocational Educational and Training (VET) sector.

The volume of learning of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment ranges between 6 months to 12 months.

The training consists of 10 units of competency;
• Plan assessment activities and processes
• Assess competence
• Participate in assessment validation
• Design and develop assessment tools
• Plan, organise and deliver group based learning
• Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace
• Design and develop learning programs
• Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs
• Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
• Make presentations

Units will be delivered over a 11 month period consisting of 5 days face to face delivery per unit.

Qualification must be attained within 24 months of course commencement.

Flexible face to face learning times/options: 8am to 2pm (6hrs) 4pm to 10pm (6hrs).
