Applied to KSS after completing his Gr 10 FODE studies. He completed GR 11&12, graduated but didn't get a placing in the selections. He admitted to FODE again. Upgraded his Gr 12 marks and secured a spot at PAU - Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Glindon Manuai is a final year Nursing student who has spent nearly four years at Pacific Adventist University.
When he first arrived, his very first impression of PAU was how peaceful and beautiful the environment is. Whenever he needs peace and quiet, his favorite spot on campus is the Prayer Garden next to the SOHET (Education) block, where he sits down to cool off, pray, and do personal reflections.
Glindon's journey to university was filled with hurdles. After completing Grade 12 in Manus, he received no initial tertiary offers and had to spend time upgrading his marks before securing his acceptance into PAU. Having attended Catholic schools all his life, transitioning to an Adventist church-run institution was a significant shift. His academic journey also tested him; in his second year, he failed his pharmacology subject, and his lecturer, Mrs. Kono, initially told him he could not continue his other studies. However, thanks to the continuous support and encouragement of his lecturers, he persevered and successfully passed.
Beyond academics, Glindon underwent a personal transformation. Upon leaving home for PAU, he made a firm personal choice to leave behind old lifestyle habits, constantly reminding himself of his family and relatives back home who look up to him as he strives to become a better version of his past self. During his third year, he faced major financial difficulties, but he leaned heavily on his faith, praying to God that since it was His choice to bring him to PAU, He would do His part. His faith was rewarded when an aunt unexpectedly offered financial assistance to clear his outstanding fees, showing him the powerful grace of God. showing him the powerful grace of God.
Looking back on his journey, Glindon leaves a lasting encouragement for others to always keep their faith central, knowing that God works miracles when He is put first.
