Under the team Listen. Do everything with love, a total of 17 Communication Arts students participated in a three day Media Education Seminar hosted by the Catholic Bishop Conference-SOCOM led by Fr. Ambrose Pereira here at the Madang Campus.

As their semester one break begins this week, the students decided to start on a high note to be part of the workshop.

The seminar commenced on Tuesday and ended on Thursday with sessions of prayer moments, poster making, photography, videography and editing and most importantly, the students took part in spiritual activities that can enhance their faith.

It was a highlight for the junior year levels to learn the basics of photo shooting and filming as they haven't taken any photography and filming classes yet.

All in all, the students are greatful for this program and they are happy to go and share what they have learnt to others with love.

On behalf of the CA department, we would like to congratulate the 17 students and thank the CBC-SOCOM Commission for the opportunity given to the department.

Divine Word University's Open Day and Career Expo is back!
We extend our invitation to all primary and secondary schools staff and students, industrial partners, Madang residents and visitors to attend the DWU 2023 Open Day and Career Expo this month. The event will be held on Sunday 14th May at our DWU Madang Campus.

Natasha Ovoi knows how her study environment at Divine Word University positively impacted her learning journey.

Divine Word University has been able to develop and upgrade its facilities through three grants, a total PGK28.1 million. These funds have supported the construction of a Friendship Library, a lecture theatre, IT systems, male and female dormitories, and staff housing.

The Friendship library boasts a large, two-storey library, complete with archives, computerised research facilities, quiet study areas and a small lecture theatre. It also includes a new auditorium which caters for more than 300 students.
