Yesterday, we proudly concluded the 20th Information Systems Symposium at Divine Word University under the theme “Digitizing the Future: Honoring Our Traditions.”

The event was a remarkable success, filled with inspiring keynote speeches, engaging discussions, and innovative final-year project presentations showcasing the creativity and technical excellence of our students.

The DWU Information Systems Department sincerely thanks the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) for coming on board as the Gold Sponsor of the 20th Information Systems Symposium with a generous contribution of K10,000.
The cheque was officially presented by DICT Representative, Ms. Michelle Jerowai. DICT also pledged K50,000 annually to support DWU Information Systems projects and innovation awards, empowering students to drive meaningful change in line with the Digital Government Plan 2023–2027.
Head of Department for Information Systems at DWU, Ms. Marryanne Bagore, thanked DICT and all the sponsors for their generous support, noting that their contributions played a key role in making this year’s event a success.
