Tribute from Positive Parenting for Child Development – Morobe Province

We mourn the passing of our beloved Patron, the Late Honorable Governor Luther A. Wenge, whose leadership and wisdom left an indelible mark on our mission to protect every child in Morobe

His departure has created a profound vacuum in our movement—one that cannot be easily refilled. Governor Wenge was more than a supporter; he was a guiding light for families, children, and community development across Morobe Province. His voice uplifted the vulnerable, his actions empowered the hopeful, and his presence gave strength to our cause.

As we grieve, we also recommit ourselves to the values he championed: dignity, justice, and care for every child and parent. His legacy lives on in our work, our hearts, and the future we continue to build the human resourse through Positive Parenting for Child Development. With support from ELC PNG and UNICEF PNG.
On their behalf we
extend our deepest heartfelt condolences to his family, and the people of Morobe. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
