MISTAKE MEANS LEARNING: ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILLS!!
🗣️ Tips to Become a Fluent English Speaker
1. Speak Every Day (Even a Little)
Don’t wait until your English is “perfect.”
Talk to yourself in English
Describe what you are doing
Practice 5–10 minutes daily
👉 Fluency comes from using, not memorizing.
---
2. Think in English
Stop translating from your language.
Name objects around you in English
Think simple sentences:
“I am cooking.” “I am going to school.”
---
3. Learn Common Phrases, Not Only Words
Fluent speakers use phrases:
“Can you help me?”
“I’m not sure.”
“What do you think?”
Write down and reuse them often.
---
4. Listen a Lot
Good speaking comes from good listening.
Watch English videos or movies
Listen to songs, news, or podcasts
Repeat what you hear (shadowing)
---
5. Don’t Fear Mistakes
Mistakes mean learning.
Focus on message, not perfection
Native speakers make mistakes too
👉 Confidence is more important than grammar.
---
6. Practice with Real People
Talk with friends or classmates
Join English groups (school, church, community)
Use simple English first
---
7. Read Aloud
Reading aloud helps:
Pronunciation
Confidence
Sentence flow
Start with short texts.
---
8. Record Yourself Speaking
Listen to your voice
Notice pronunciation and fluency
Improve little by little
---
9. Set Small Goals
Example:
Week 1: Introduce yourself confidently
Week 2: Talk about your day
Week 3: Share opinions
Small goals = big progress.
10. Be Patient and Consistent
Fluency takes time.
Practice daily
Enjoy the process
Celebrate improvement.
Good luck

Sam Koim is widely respected for his integrity and strong stance on good governance. His leadership during his time with the IRC demonstrated his commitment to clean, transparent, and accountable public administration.
He has proven experience in managing large public institutions, especially through the reforms and compliance initiatives he championed, which strengthened revenue collection and modernized systems.
Known for his professionalism and discipline, Koim has consistently presented himself as a results-driven leader who values due process and fairness.
Many Papua New Guineans recognize him for his dedication to the rule of law, especially from his earlier roles in anti-corruption efforts, which built public confidence in his moral and ethical principles.
His communication style is clear, respectful, and community-focused, helping people better understand public policies and institutional responsibilities.
He has shown strong resilience and perseverance, often operating in challenging environments while maintaining his focus on institutional reforms and long-term goals.
