THE University of Goroka (UOG) student representative council has launched its rugby league tournament for this year, marking a new era in student sport.
This was confirmed following the formal affiliation of the UOG Rugby Football League with the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League. The event was celebrated at the Goroka campus, Eastern Highlands, last Friday.
Led by SRC president Justin Muna, the initiative aims to expand sporting opportunities for students and strengthen pathways for youth development through rugby league.
