To have a multiplying ministry in ALL of the 836 people groups (with unique languages), we work on campus where:
>> People from all 836 people groups attend
>> English is the common language. This is a HUGE task, but our goal is that every student leaving the university will have a degree in one hand and the ability to build, train, and send multiplying disciples to see God win people for Himself in EVERY people group!

A total of 300 gift packs were distributed to mostly first years and some continuing students during the 2023 Orientation on 31st of January 2023.
Shout out to two of our alumni Tanya and Ricky for helping out.

First Year's Orientation for the University of Papua New Guinean is tomorrow 31/01/2023! UPNG students if you are in campus come check our booth out and get yourself a gift pack. We have some great gifts to give out!
We will be setting up tables at the Forum Square as early as 8:30am.
Also Student Lifers in POM wear your shirts and come help out at the booth tomorrow.

The gift packs contains a Jesus Magazine, Jesus Film CD, A Daily Devotional and a brochure of what Student Life Ministry is all about.
This is an effort to connect with the new student's and invite them to be part of the Ministry.

Easter Conference was Great. Glory to God.
Students under Students Life Ministry of the University of Papua New Guinea completed their two days of Easter Conference basing on Evangelism and Discipleship.
The Conference aimed to have students focused more on the life of Jesus and his words on John 14:12 which says,
"Very truly I tell you, whoever believes(A) in me will do the works I have been doing,(B) and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
More than 40 members spent two days to attend the program and it ended this afternoon.
The ministry is open to any student or anyone who is willing to join them.

Thank God for the hard working missionaries who courageously persevered investing their life and time in the leaders of this nation amidst the uncertain 2021. To have someone great and influential, there must be a mentor, discipler. These young missionaries Seraphim Kautu, Elton Matavia and Florida Poko have been working with students on campus. Helping them in their walk with God and to be an agent of change where God will call them to in the future. Its amazing to see the impact God has done in the lives of the university students through these missionaries. All praise and glory goes back to God.
If you have a relative who is coming to UPNG next 2022 and is looking for a place to grow Spiritual in their walk with God, build confidence in themselves, these amazing people will be there for them.

As the Exam week is at its peak and the second semester of 2021 winding down, the students and staff had a last meeting of presentation of appreciation gifts and certificates to final year students. Also Farewelling a staff, Elton Matavia who will be switching from campus to church ministry in 2022.

REFLECTION NIGHT!!
Students reflecting on what God did throughout the semester and had a great time of sharing. They learned from each other and at the same time coming up with the Christmas period ACTION PLAN.

The ministry had it's INDEPENDENCE Celebration on Monday. Students came in PNG colours to show their pride of their country.
We thank God for bringing us this far as a nation.
