CLTC is the servant of the churches of the South Pacific, training men and women for Christian ministry and leadership. Each year the College trains about two hundred students at its three campuses by providing biblical and theological instruction. Christian Leaders' Training College is hosting a Missions Conference, open to all pastors and leaders, on the theme: "From Melanesian Shores to the Nations: How local churches can participate in Gods' Mission through prayer, generosity, and witnessing," based on Luke 5: 1-11.

CLTC continues to recognize its students for their service on Campus (Banz). For the month of May, Sharon Gini, Luke Talu and Titus Irowen were acknowledged, amongst others.

ANNOUNCEMENT

From the CLTC President:

"On behalf of the College Council of CLTC I wish to formally announce the appointment Mr. Gordon Tobul as the new National Principal of the Christian Leaders Training College PNG.
Mr. Tobul was appointed by Council after the resignation of Dr. Maxon Mani.
The leadership transition and hand-over will take place in June.
Maxon and Esther will move to Port Moresby Campus and continue to serve CLTC.

May I take this opportunity to thank Maxon and Esther for their tireless effort to provide leadership to the College for the last 5 years in a most difficult time of the college. May God our Heavenly Father who has called them will guide them in their future.

On the same note I welcome Gordon and Jenny to the role of National Principal, a noble task of leading this unique institution.
The Council will continue to render support and prayers as they serve."

CLTC was honored to host the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Evangelical Alliance of PNG this week.
The highlight of the program was the official handover of an Early Childhood Curriculum to the Minister for Community Development, Religion and Youth.
Developed over four years, this curriculum is designed to support the 1-6-6 Education Policy and strengthen the foundation of learning in schools nationwide.
Present for this occassion, were members of the PNG Council of Churches and dignitaries from the PNG National Government, including Minister for Community Development, Religion and Youth - Hon. Jason Peter, and representatives from his department, Education, and the department of the Prime Minister.
In partnership with the PNG Council of Churches, this important initiative is backed by the 23 EA churches—marking a significant step forward in shaping the future of education in PNG.
CLTC Station Primary School students led the welcome procession with the guests while the kindie students welcomed our guests in song.

Cell Group 7 ministered at the Lutheran Renewal Church at Sigiri, through church cleaning, toilet construction and outreach at the marketplace.

This was Cell Group 9's visit to Kindeng where they did Open Air preaching and one on one evangelism.
