Somos una fundación que apuesta por la educación y salud de niños en situación de vulnerabilidad de la provincia de Urubamba, Cusco.

La Institución Educativa Soly Luna a través de su entidad promotora, incursiona en el campo educativo en el ano 2009, comprometiendose con una labor formativa integral, desde una perspectiva intercultural con equidad y sin fines de luccro, Institución reconocida oficialmente por Resolución N ........el mes de...... iniciándose con los niveles de Inicial y Primaria, y actualmente con secundaria. El

Colegio desde un inicio exige interiorizar la práctica de valores, otorgando seguridad ,con un ambiente familiar de identidad, amalgamando con alegria la formación académica con talleres y actividades que coadyuvan a formar la personalidad de los ninos y vinculando los estamentos de la comunidad educativa. El Colegio Intercultural Sol y Luna proporciona tambien el servicio de alimentación, como espacio de desarrollo personal y convivencia entre alumnos y profesores. Para muchas de las actividades recreativas, cuenta con locáles y ambientes adecuados, donde la alegria y creatividad de los ninos gozan de libertad. Sin duda que las fotografias expresan de por si, mas que las palabras.

En septiembre, Thomas correrá el TOR330 – Tor des Géants®, más de 330 kilómetros de esfuerzo y perseverancia por una causa que lleva en el corazón: los niños de la Fundación Sol y Luna, una comunidad que considera parte de su familia.

Hay sonrisas que alegran cualquier día. Brigith tiene una de ellas. 💚

A sus 16 años, Brigith ilumina cualquier lugar al que llega. Como parte de Paqari, se ha convertido en una fuente de alegría, cariño y motivación para quienes la conocen.

Con el amor incondicional de su mamá y el acompañamiento de la fundación, Brigith, una adolescente con autismo, recibe apoyo en terapia, educación y formación para fortalecer su autonomía y seguir desarrollando todo su potencial.

Gracias a su esfuerzo, constancia y ganas de aprender, hoy se comunica con mayor seguridad, se desplaza de manera independiente y realiza cada vez más actividades por sí misma. Cada avance representa un paso importante hacia una vida más autónoma y plena.

There are smiles that can brighten any day. Brigith’s is one of them. 💚

At 16 years old, Brigith brings joy, kindness, and motivation to everyone around her. As part of Paqari, and with the unconditional love of her mother and the support of the foundation, she receives therapy, education, and training that help her build independence and continue reaching her full potential.

Thanks to her determination and eagerness to learn, she now communicates with greater confidence, moves around independently, and takes on more activities on her own every day.

Every step forward is a step toward a more independent and fulfilling life.

Las mejores experiencias nacen cuando compartimos tiempo, aprendizajes y nuevas perspectivas. 🌎

Sean llegó desde Sudáfrica para formar parte de la familia Sol y Luna como voluntario. Apasionado por la fotografía y el deporte, ha decidido dedicar parte de su tiempo a acompañar a nuestros niños y niñas en esta experiencia de aprendizaje mutuo.

Durante su estadía apoyará las clases de educación física, participará en distintas actividades de nuestros programas y compartirá su amor por la fotografía con nuestros estudiantes.

¡Volvimos a llenar las aulas de ganas de aprender! 📚💜

Qué alegría volver a ver nuestro colegio lleno de risas, encuentros y esas ganas de aprender que hacen que cada día sea especial.

Amigos que vuelven a encontrarse después de las vacaciones, profesores que regresan para acompañar a sus estudiantes y, por supuesto, el recreo… ese momento que sigue siendo el favorito de todos. ✨

Hoy nuestras aulas vuelven a cobrar vida y con ellas también renueva fuerzas nuestro propósito: seguir construyendo una educación inclusiva y de calidad, acompañando a cada niño y niña en su camino.

En el Perú existen más de 50 pueblos indígenas que habitan los Andes y la Amazonía, guardianes de una invaluable diversidad cultural, conocimientos ancestrales y conexión con la naturaleza. Sin embargo, muchas de estas comunidades aún enfrentan brechas en el acceso a la educación, la salud y las oportunidades de desarrollo.

En este Día Internacional de los Pueblos Indígenas, reconocemos su aporte fundamental a nuestro país y reafirmamos nuestro compromiso de seguir construyendo oportunidades junto a ellos. Creemos que una sociedad más justa se construye cuando la interculturalidad y la inclusión dejan de ser solo principios y se convierten en acciones concretas. Ese es el camino que buscamos promover cada día en la Fundación Sol y Luna.

La salud mental también transforma vidas. 💜

“Kawsay”, palabra quechua que significa "vivir bien": una vida con propósito, conexión y equilibrio; nació para acompañar a niños y adolescentes que han vivido experiencias de violencia, abandono o situaciones difíciles, brindándoles un espacio seguro donde puedan sanar, crecer y volver a creer en su futuro.

A través de atención psicológica, psicopedagogía y terapia de lenguaje, trabajamos para fortalecer su bienestar emocional, su aprendizaje y su desarrollo integral.

Porque cuando un niño sana, también recupera la oportunidad de soñar. 🌱

Mental health also transforms lives. 💜

“Kawsay”, a Quechua word meaning “to live well”, represents a life with purpose, connection, and balance. This program was created to support children and adolescents who have experienced violence, abandonment, or difficult circumstances, providing them with a safe space where they can heal, grow, and believe in their future again.

Through psychological support, educational guidance, and speech therapy, we work to strengthen their emotional well-being, learning process, and holistic development.

Because when a child heals, they regain the opportunity to dream. 🌱

El lenguaje que nos une es la solidaridad. 💜

Bienvenida, Laetitia. 🇨🇭✨ Tiene 23 años y llega desde Suiza para formar parte de nuestro programa de voluntariado en el Hogar Sol y Luna, con muchas ganas de conocer más sobre la cultura peruana, fortalecer su español y vivir una experiencia que deje huella.

Estudió Negocios e Innovación y, además, fue instructora de esquí, disciplina en la que incluso llegó a competir. Hoy cambia la nieve por el Valle Sagrado para compartir tiempo, aprendizajes y nuevas experiencias junto a nuestros niños.

Más que venir a enseñar, llega con el deseo de compartir, descubrir nuevas perspectivas y crecer junto a nuestra comunidad. ¡Bienvenida a la familia Sol y Luna! 🤍

Welcome, Laetitia. 🇨🇭✨

At 23 years old, Laetitia joins us from Switzerland as part of our volunteer program at Sol y Luna Children's Home. She is excited to immerse herself in Peruvian culture, strengthen her Spanish, and live a meaningful experience that will leave a lasting impact.

She studied Business and Innovation and previously worked as a ski instructor, even competing in the sport. Today, she swaps the snow for Peru's Sacred Valley to share her time, learn alongside our children, and create unforgettable memories together.

More than coming to teach, she arrives with the desire to connect, discover new perspectives, and grow alongside our community.
