Improve your Spanish with a native speaker from the comfort of your own home. We’re an organization dedicated to supporting our local community in Perú.

Classes are available for beginner to advanced students and are tailored to fit your schedule and budget. Through our various programs, we work hand-in hand with organizations that are making a positive impact in Trujillo and provide opportunities for cultural exchange. Our mission is to support our local community, working hand-in-hand with organizations that are making a positive impact in Trujillo, and to provide opportunities for cultural exchange. We’re doing this by:

Working with local school to provide free English language education for children in underprivileged areas

Supporting local initiatives that make a positive impact on our community, such as those which advocate for the environment or that provide aid in times of crisis

Organizing events where students and adults of all ages are able to practice English, Spanish and other languages

Connecting international and local volunteers with our students and the community

Our vision is to empower individuals and organizations who, through their growth, will positively impact our community & the world.

“¿Qué tal?” is often translated as “How are you?” In a nonsocial situation, however, such as when you’re asking for directions, checking into a hotel, and so forth, it’s just another way to greet and acknowledge someone and you don’t have to respond back, nor do they 👩‍🏫 It’s like that moment when you say “how’s it going?” in English but aren’t really expecting to hear how it’s going 🤓

If you don’t initially understand the question “¿De dónde eres?” a native speaker will often follow-up with the question “¿De que país?” or “¿De que país eres?” to qualify or help you to understand🤪
