Spirit Week was another wonderful opportunity for our community to continue celebrating 80 Years of Markham.

Through the theme “Proud to Belong”, Early Years children explored what makes them proud of themselves, their friends and their school.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the talent and creativity within our school community.

This Friday, 4 September, Abahna Haze, featuring one of our markhamians, released their debut album, 𝘌𝘯 𝘖𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘓𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘳.

Congratulations to the band on this exciting milestone! We’re delighted to see our students pursuing their passions and sharing their music with the world.

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀!

Starting school is an exciting milestone, and we want every child and family to feel ready for what comes next.

Our Early Years Playdates offer an opportunity to become familiar with the school environment, meet members of our community and experience the joy of learning through play — all before the first day arrives.

For parents, it’s also a chance to get to know our team and ask questions as they prepare for this important transition.

We look forward to welcoming our newest families to Markham.

Every meaningful change starts with a shared purpose.

Thanks to the commitment of our students, teachers and families, the Markham community launched 80 fog catchers now standing in the hills of Lomas Verdes, Villa María del Triunfo.

The Nubes de Cambio initiative will help provide water access for 160 families, demonstrating how collective action can create a lasting impact.
