60th AAKF National Championship, 11th National Youth Championships!

We are pleased to announce the 60th AAKF National Championship and 11th National Youth Championships, to be held on June 23rd & 24th, 2023 in Herndon, Virginia.
For this Championship, there will also be adult non-black belt competition categories (individual Kata and Kumite) in addition to black belt individual and team events.
There will be an international camp and judges’ seminar prior to the Championship from June 21st to June 23rd, 2023.
Join us for the camp, training and competition in this year’s biggest AAKF event! Further details will be posted on our website in the near future.

All registrations should be received by May 30th, 2023. Please be reminded that 2023 AAKF membership and black belt registration are pre-requisite for participation at any level (instructor, competitor, judge, and examinee).

Sensei Tabassi's Promotion to 9th Dan The American Amateur Karate Federation is thrilled to announce that Sensei Mahmoud Tabassi has been awarded 9th Dan! His lifetime of practice, teaching, and service has helped make the organization what it is today.  

It is here! Based on membership demand, the Fall and Winter AAKF seminars will be held over Zoom this year on separate weekends in September, October, November, and December!

Here's what you need to know:

- First Seminar: September 12 @ 10:00 AM-2:00 PM EST
- Sessions will be led by the AAKF Technical Committee, or premier instructors of different regions.

Another great day of the AAKF International Camp! We received more information to use for continued training throughout the next year! Thanks to all the instructors and participants.

2nd day of AAKF international camp concentrated on kumite strategy and lot of drills. It was a fun day full of information.

Great first day of the International Camp 2018. Everyone enjoyed training and learning basics of kata, movement, and relaxation drills. Thank you to Sensei Kwiecinski, and American and Canadian instructors!

Tomorrow is another day - KUMITE training!

The AAKF is deeply saddened by the passing of Witold Kwiecinski. He was deeply loved and valued by all those around him. He will forever be remembered for his giving nature, talents, kind heart, and big smile.

We extend our condolences to the entire Kwiecinski family, as well as the karate community worldwide. May God bless him and his loved ones.
