We are now at approximately 12,000 feet elevation at Lake Titicaca. It's the largest lake on the highest elevation. We met 7 families that live on a floating island. It was so unbelievable! Fund for Teachers
We are two Hamilton County ESOL teachers going to Chile and Peru to learn Spanish and learn about the cultures of the people who live there.

It was such a humbling experience visiting the house of a local farmer with our tour guide. We even tasted their food:cheese, potatoes and quinoa bread. Fund for Teachers!

We took our first field trip in Lima with fun classmates. We tried exotic fruits and visited the Inka market. We stopped on the way home for Indian food and finished the evening by catching up on homework.
