IBI is a Christian leaders' training school in Lima, Peru. The Church of Christ has begun to flourish in Peru and its capital Lima in particular.
Instituto Biblico Interamericano (IBI) is a biblical school for developing Christian leaders in Lima, Peru and was founded in 2002. IBI was formed to help send young men and women into congregations and provide workers to strengthen the churches in Lima. Our curriculum is centered on church leadership skills, a greater grasp of the biblical text, evangelism, and church administration. It is overseen by a Board of Directors in Lima as well as a Board of Directors in the United States.

Tomorrow is graduation day at IBI! We are so proud and blessed to have played a part in the spiritual development of these young men and women!
As Dr Seals wrote to our graduates:

COVID-19 update: our new students had just moved into their rooms and began courses when the COVID-19 outbreak forced the closure of all educational facilities and forced a shelter-in-place order across Peru. Our students have returned home for the time-being and we have suspended classes temporarily; however, we are exploring how best to begin online courses for our students so we can resume classes soon.
Our prayers are with all those affected by this disease and especially for those health care and ministry providers who are tending to the needs of others.

Even though we are all separated from one another due to this virus (and geography) it was wonderful to worship with our brothers and sisters in Lima this morning online!
A pesar de que todos estamos separados el uno del otro debido a este virus (y la geografía), ¡fue maravilloso adorar con nuestros hermanos y hermanas en Lima esta mañana en línea!
We pause to pray for the countless number affected by the Covid 19 outbreak across the world: the sick, their families, the doctors and nurses, the scientists working on a cure, ministers caring for their flock, the leaders of all nations, those who are losing income and jobs. We pray for peace, for healing, and for stillness.
