WORKSHOP I
📘”When does my audition start?”- Workshop
🗓️05/10/26
🕣11am a 1pm
🙎♂️Dirigido por Rodrigo Varandas
‼️In this workshop, Rodrigo Varandas teaches you how to conduct your audition. From the importance of how you carry
yourself when you enter the building, all the way to your final look inside the room. “I’m a firm believer that you have to
use every second as an opportunity. Some of my work opportunities came from connections in the holding room or
even the parking lot after an audition.” Rodrigo covers kindness at the check in table, how when you walk in the room
you are already auditioning, the importance of the moment before, how to conduct a mishap, extra nuggets of
information you should have with you, how to exit the room and how to connect and leave a lasting impression. This
workshop can be taught to MT, Dance and Acting students.
WORKSHOP II
📘”Varios Dance Workshops (Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde and/or Mean Girls)”- Workshop
🗓️06/10/26
🕣11am a 1pm
🙎♂️Dirigido por Rodrigo Varandas
Rodrigo Varandas brings the energy, style, and storytelling of musical theater dance into the room
through choreography inspired by shows such as Mamma Mia!, Legally Blonde, and/or Mean Girls. Students learn
combinations that challenge not only their technique, but also their performance quality, musicality, and ability to bring
character into movement.“Dance in musical theater is never just about the steps. It is about the story, the confidence,
the rhythm, and the point of view behind every move.”Rodrigo focuses on helping students pick up choreography
quickly, understand the style and tone of each piece, and perform with clarity, personality, and intention. Depending on
the class, the workshop can lean more commercial, jazz, theater, or character-driven, while always keeping the work
accessible, energizing, and rooted in performance. This workshop can be taught to MT and Dance students.
