Welcome to Korea! 🚀🇰🇷 Our students from the Basque Country are currently on an amazing Learning Journey in Korea, last week has been full of unforgettable experiences! They kicked off their journey with a Gymkhana Challenge on Independence Movement Day, where despite the cold and rain, they immersed themselves in Korean culture, visited the Mangwon market, they explored the local gastronomy, history, language and architecture.

In Travelling U, we stand for teaching cooperation beyond coexistence. It’s vital that future generations are prepared to work across borders and adapt rapidly to changes in the international landscape. Through our international programs, students first learn theoretical aspects of cultural norms and business practices, and then experience them firsthand through immersion and real-world problem-solving in different countries.

4 weeks adventure in New York comes to an end!💫

New York is The United States’ 2nd best startup ecosystem and is ranked 3rd in the world. It was also ranked 3rd in all three categories of Global ecosystem in funding, Global ecosystem in talent & experience and Global ecosystem in performance in the 2022 Global Startup Ecosystem Report carried out by the Global Entrepreneurship Network.

The city boasts 3837 startups which represents about 11% of The United States’s sampled startups. It also helds some success stories including Foursquare and its startup ecosystem infrastructure is strengthened by organizations such as etsy and 1450 Broadway.

With a large variety of initiatives, New York’s startup ecosystem stands out from other cities in North America and offers a number of funding opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups.

New York is also renowned for its vibrant and diverse culture. Is is a melting pot of different ethnicities, languages, and traditions, making it a hub of cultural exchange.💫🙏🏼

From Galdakao to South Korea, in search of new realities👁️

On January 23rd, members of .coop and .co visited Vocational Training with the aim of strengthening their collaboration.🤝

As they have learned from our expeditions to Berlin and New York in recent years, this year the members of Andra Mari will make the leap to South Korea, with the aim of discovering a new context and bringing what they have learned there to Andra Mari.🙌🏼

While we were organizing the trip, we were lucky enough to get to know the center’s activities from the inside, a very useful visit to better understand the work they do and to appreciate it from a South Korean perspective.👁️

Azken urteetan Berlin eta New Yorken egin ditugun espedizioak ezagutu dituzten moduan, aurten Andra Mariko kideek Hego Koreara emango dute jauzia, testuinguru berri bat ezagutu eta han ikasitakoa Andra Marira ekartzeko asmoz.

Bidaiaren antolaketan ari garen honetan, zentroko jarduna barru-barrutik ezagutzeko zortea izan genuen, bisita oso baliagarria egiten duten lana hobeto ulertzeko eta Hego Koreara begira aintzat hartzeko.
