📌 SIGNIFICADO Y USO GENERAL
👉 Esta estructura se usa para hablar de experiencias únicas, repetidas o definitivas
👉 Su uso depende directamente del tiempo verbal

1️⃣ “THIS IS THE FIRST TIME…” Y VARIANTES
👉 Se utiliza para experiencias dentro del presente

A. + PRESENTE PERFECTO (have/has + participio)
✔ Porque la experiencia forma parte del presente
Ejemplos:
• This is the first time that I’ve heard her sing.
(Es la primera vez que la escucho cantar.)
→ ❌ This is the first time that I hear her sing.
• This is the first time I’ve seen a volcano.
(Es la primera vez que veo un volcán.)
• This is the fifth time you’ve asked me the same question.
(Es la quinta vez que me haces la misma pregunta.)
• That’s the third cake you’ve eaten this morning.
(Es el tercer pastel que te comes esta mañana.)
• It’s one of the most interesting books I’ve ever read.
(Es uno de los libros más interesantes que he leído.)

B. VARIANTES CON FUTURO
👉 Se mantiene el presente perfecto
• I’m flying to New York tomorrow. It’ll be the first time I’ve travelled by plane.
(Viajo a Nueva York mañana. Será la primera vez que viaje en avión.)

C. EN PASADO (PAST PERFECT)
👉 Para experiencias en un momento pasado
• It was the third time he had been in love that year.
(Fue la tercera vez que estuvo enamorado ese año.)

2️⃣ “THIS IS THE LAST TIME…”
👉 Puede combinarse con distintos tiempos
• This is the last time I pay / I’m paying for you.
(Esta es la última vez que pago / que estoy pagando por ti.)
• This is the last time I’ll pay for you.
(Esta es la última vez que pagaré por ti.)
• That’s the last email he gets / he’s getting from me.
(Ese es el último correo que recibe / que va a recibir de mí.)
• This is the last thing I’m going to say to you.
(Esto es lo último que voy a decirte.)
