✨ Did you know about Santurantikuy? ✨
Every December 24th, the city of Cusco celebrates Santurantikuy, one of the most important and beautiful traditional markets in Peru 🇵🇪.
The word Santurantikuy comes from Quechua and means “the sale of saints”. On this day, artisans from different Andean communities gather in the main square of Cusco to sell handmade crafts, nativity figures, paintings, ceramics, and traditional products.
🎨🪵 You’ll see:
Hand-carved nativity scenes
Traditional Andean art
Local food and sweets
A magical Christmas atmosphere full of culture and history
Santurantikuy is more than a market — it’s a living tradition that shows the blend of Andean culture and Spanish influence, and a perfect way to experience Christmas the Cusco way ❤️
Have you ever visited Santurantikuy? Let us know in the comments 👇

✨ Volunteering that makes a difference ✨
Our student (name) came to Cusco to learn Spanish and experience Peruvian culture. After her classes, she volunteered at a school for children with disabilities 🧡.
As a speech therapist, she shared her knowledge and kindness with the kids, and even offered a training workshop for the teachers on speech therapy techniques — leaving tools that will continue to help long after she’s gone 🙌.
Thank you for inspiring us and for making a real impact 🌍💛.
If you’d like to learn Spanish and join a meaningful volunteer program, we’ll be happy to guide you

A spooky and unforgettable night in Cusco!
Our students joined a guided and theatrical tour at the historic Cementerio de la Almudena, where actors brought to life the legends and stories of Cusco’s departed. 💀
They loved every moment — the atmosphere, the stories, and the magic of discovering a different side of our city at night

✨🌍 Discover Cusco, learn Spanish & give back
Josefina, a 65-year-old student from the Netherlands, came to Peru looking for travel and new experiences. She studied Spanish with us for one week and then joined a volunteer program at a primary school near Cusco’s historic center, teaching English to the kids 📚💬.
The best part? She improved her Spanish every day while living with a local Cusqueñan family who made her feel right at home 🏡💛.
Her story inspires us and reminds us that it’s never too late to learn, travel, and connect with Andean culture 🙌.
👉 You can also learn Spanish with us and take part in a volunteer project in Cusco.
