Mundo Antiguo is a small Spanish school in the center of Cusco in Peru. Our classes are completely customized to your wishes, level and tempo. We offer group lessons (with a maximum of 4 students) and private classes. Our teaching method gives you the possibility to have a basic conversation in Spanish, faster than you can imagine!

One of our favorite things at Mundo Antiguo? Taking Spanish beyond the classroom 🇵🇪
Our students headed to for a cooking class where they practiced their Spanish while learning to make some of Peru’s most iconic dishes — chilcano de pisco, causa rellena, ceviche, arroz con leche y mazamorra morada.
The team at Loki was incredible — professional, knowledgeable and passionate about Peruvian food and culture. Every dish came with its history, its story, its why. That’s the kind of experience that stays with you.

En la cultura andina, agosto es el mes de la Pachamama — un tiempo para agradecer a la tierra por todo lo que da. Este año, en Mundo Antiguo, quisimos vivir esta ceremonia junto a nuestros estudiantes. Porque aprender un idioma también es esto: agradecer, conectar, y convertirse en familia. 🌎🤎

In Andean culture, August is the month of the Pachamama — a time to give thanks to the earth for everything it provides. This year, at Mundo Antiguo, we wanted to live this ceremony together with our students. Because learning a language is also this: giving thanks, connecting, and becoming family. 🌎🤎

There are many ways to learn a language.

One of them is sharing a meal, discovering new traditions, dancing together, and understanding what makes a country proud.

This Independence Day, our students celebrated Peru alongside travelers from all over the world. Together, we explored the flavors, music, and traditions of the Coast, Highlands, and Amazon—not just to celebrate, but to better understand the culture behind the language.

A huge thank you to for opening their doors and helping us create such a special cultural exchange. 🇵🇪❤️
