FGC Team Hungary 2025

Team Hungary has come a long way since last May! The long hours spent at the workshop has finally paid off. We got 4th place out of over a 190 nations.

As soon as we found out this years challenge back in Summer, we realized that has never been more about cooperation before. We took the role as leaders and as partners many times, having coordimated complicated startegies and helping others build their robot. From helping others fix their climbing mechanisism through making sure every accelarator works well, we also had many amazing conversationa with others.

Through these conversations, we also made countless new friends and connections, befriending alliance partners, people we partied with and ones who invited us into their pit to teach us salsa 💃.

At the end of the day, we realize how many important lessons FGC taught us. It made us experience some of the hardship of life, like bridgeing cultures, overcoming barriers and working through our common values and shared humanity.

DAY 2 is over! 🎃🦾 We played six matches today with amazing teams that we were so glad to collaborate with! Our best score today was 100 points, which is truly amazing. Day 1 of the FGC 2025 competition is over!🇵🇦🦾
Yesterday we played 4 exciting matches, collaborated with amazing teams from around the world, and shared strategies to improve together. Our best score was 72 points, great start!

Today we’re getting ready for 6 more matches, and we can’t wait to keep learning, competing, and having fun with everyone!

Team Hungary just arrived in Paris! Only two days are left until the competition, and just a few hours until we land in Panama City! 🇵🇦
Altough we didn’t sleep much, the team spirit is stronger than ever and our excitement is over the roof! We also met with other teams at the airport, and had a little chat about the competition. We can’t wait to meet all of you!🌎❤️

Good news: We are ready!

After months of hard work, our robot is finally finished and we couldn’t be happier with the result! It’s powerful, reliable and ready to take on every challenge at this year’s FIRST Global Challenge.

Our team has finalized the strategy, divided up the tasks, and is prepared for every scenario. Now all that’s left is to bring our energy, teamwork, and Hungarian spirit to the competition!
We’re so excited to meet teams from all around the world — the ones that we have already talked to and the ones we will meet for the first time as well — collaborate, and celebrate the power of STEM and innovation together.

SM CHALLENGE🍳😋
