Panama Coast International School

e (Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm) and students are welcome to enroll at any time during the year. Besides the core subjects of Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies all students attend daily Spanish classes and weekly Art, Music and PE classes. PCIS is fully accredited by MEDUCA, the national education authority of Panama. High-school students can choose to receive an offical Panamanian or North-American diploma (or both) and are fully prepared to attend university. Academic activities are project based and students are expected to participate in extra-curricular activities including community service, the Science Fair, musical and theatrical performances, and journalism. Currently, there are 250 students from Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America and the school will grow as the expat community grows.
