This frog Silverstoneia nubicola was thought to have disappeared from Altos de Campana National Park as a result of chytrid related declines and is considered Vulnerable to extinction. Silverstoneia flotator- the rainforest rocket frog is a frequent soundtrack of the rainforest in the daytime. This very tiny frog is less than 2cm in size but has a loud call, just takes a while to warm up!
