LOVE this free magazine! Interesting quick read on page 26 about being the medical person in charge. Also loved the article about how a Marine prepares for offshore sailing and the one on what makes a great bow person. Haven’t gotten to the articles on cooking or making lee cloths yet, but I will. Interesting article about McGyver-ing supplies for on-the-water medical emergencies. Not a substitute for a well stocked medical kit, but in a pinch...

If you reach for the onboard first-aid kit and find out there isn't one, don't panic during an emergency. Some out-of-the-box thinking will help put the needed medical tools in your hands.

Colon, Panama to St Pete Beach on a 2018 Maine Cat 41. Ten days. Darn near 1200nm rumb, 1450nm through the water. The usual challenges plus a few more. At the end of the day, we were on a boat. As it should be ❤️

All drugs are required by law to have an expiration date. Replacing them is expensive . Is it unnecessary?
