In a world where the technological obsolescence is ever more dizzying, because of the rapid new developments, Soyuz, the Soviet Space Program (now Russian), has kept its relevance and use since 1967, because its foundations lie in the brilliant design of its rockets that have remained unchanged since then thanks to its constant renewal and adaptation. SOYUZ has become a technological icon that con
tinues contributing to human progress for the longest period than any other space program in the world. Thus, Soyuz has been a symbol of the permanence of men’s technology as a tool to achieve their dreams that are born as a relationship of life on the rise, the suction of the infinite from A to Z, and it means love and peace. It is born the initiative to create an institution that guarantees the English language, without neglecting our native language, Spanish as a way to ensure the success of its graduates and in response to the need for a school to educate in values through experience, a school that can fulfill its role, to promote culture, art, civic awareness, and respect for human dignity. Our History and Background
Soyuz Bilingual School opens its doors in March 1997 and was formalized through Decree No. 95 of May 25, 1999 signed by then Minister of Education Mr. The school begins in the land and property of the Chanis family, with an enrollment of 22 students, divided into nursery, pre-kinder, kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grades. Today the campus is kept running on Cantarrana Urbanization, Carmen Salerno Street, Chitre, Herrera Province, Republic of Panama. In March 2001 the first building was opened, with modern specifications. In 2004, 2005 and 2006 major extensions were developed. In 2004 the initiative materializes only the General Basic Education. On September 11, 2007, the National Agency for Curriculum and Educational Technology, under the signature of its Director Isis Nuñez de Esquivel, provide for the approval of curricula that include the proposed high schools: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce with emphasis in Banking and Finance and by December 2008 the first generation was graduated in Junior High. With the growth of the student population in 2009, the neighboring land is bought, the Victoria Building is built, one modern building with spacious and air conditioned classrooms, modern laboratories of English, Science and Computer. Years has passed joining effort with a winning Teacher´s Staff that in collaboration with Parents have strengthen education with their work and support. School Curriculum and Extracurricular Activities
The projection of the school has been very important in the community, the quality and fluidity with which our students approach the English and Spanish languages, is amply demonstrated through the Shakespeare’s and Cervantes Weeks; activities that takes place annually to promote and encourage the use of these languages. Furthermore, we also develop the Science Fair, Theatre Works, Judo, Classical Ballet, the Estudiantina, Banda de Guerra and uniqueness of our Folklore Group, which already is projected internationally, in addition to physical education emphasizes not only in traditional sports such as basketball, baseball and football, but also tennis. Our students have successfully participated in various national competitions, drawing, writing, oratory, poetry, singing, football, tennis and table tennis, chess, etc. Chanis as Academic Director, Eustiquio Chanis as Managing Director, and Beáta de Ruiz as Deputy.
We proudly continue working for our country and region to ensure the holistic development of our students, emphasizing the growth of their personality, a human being who loves and wants to be loved, somebody that is honest and posses a critical attitude, with an open minded to diverse cultures, fluent in English and Spanish, so a wonderful human being.

Después de días de trabajo, servicio y compromiso, llegó el momento de celebrar todo lo logrado juntos. Culminamos esta experiencia con una despedida llena de risas, recuerdos y momentos que quedarán para siempre en nuestros corazones.
Más allá de los proyectos completados, nos llevamos nuevas amistades, aprendizajes y la satisfacción de haber dejado una huella positiva en la comunidad. 💙✨
