ild will learn words they need to know in school, on tests and in life. Your child will learn new words directly, by reading the words, learning what they mean, studying them, and then practicing them as they do the activities. If practiced effectively, they might even begin using them in their own writing or conversations. Ever heard of the saying: “Use a word three times and it’s yours”? The more you practice a word, the better you understand it. Virtual Classroom
By engaging in a class that is instructed online, your child will learn valuable skills that they will continue to use throughout their life. Schools are now using more and more technology in the classrooms including test taking, viewing teacher presentations, listing and submitting homework. Then, once your child enters the University, they will have the option to take online courses. The internet has expanded our intellectual knowledge by giving us more opportunities to learn. If English is not your child’s first language and you see them needing more time to understand and complete their homework or to read a book, then this may be a great fit for your child. Most of my students are ESL learners from various countries including South Korea and Panamá. Giving your child the confidence they need to speak a 2nd language is very important. They need to feel that they are being understood and that their work is recognized.
