AY 2025–2026 | Class Party | Bangladesh School Sohar (BSS)

Bangladesh School Sohar (BSS) successfully organized the Class Party for the students before the last academic day of the school on 04 May 2026.

The programme provided students with an opportunity to celebrate the successful completion of the academic year in a joyful and friendly environment. Students participated enthusiastically in various activities and shared memorable moments with their classmates and teachers.

Such events play an important role in promoting cooperation, friendship, and positive relationships among students while creating cherished memories of school life.

BSS extends its best wishes to all students for their continued success and a bright future ahead.

Invigilators Workshop/Training 2026

Bangladesh School Sohar, an Edexcel Approved Centre (Centre No. 91684), successfully conducted the Invigilators Workshop/Training on 03 May 2026.

The session was formally led by the Head of Centre and the Examinations Officer, covering key aspects of examination regulations, invigilation protocols, and compliance requirements in accordance with Edexcel standards. The training aimed to ensure the integrity, fairness, and smooth administration of all forthcoming examinations.

All teaching staff were present and actively engaged throughout the session, demonstrating their professionalism and commitment to upholding the highest standards of examination conduct.

Bangladesh School Sohar remains dedicated to maintaining excellence and strict adherence to international assessment guidelines.

High Achiever Award and Blessing Ceremony-2026

Bangladesh School Sohar proudly organized the Pearson Edexcel High Achiever Award and Blessing Ceremony 2026 for Grades X, XI and XII on 19 April 2026.

The event celebrated the outstanding academic accomplishments of our students and offered blessings for their future success. We are pleased to announce that the ceremonial crest was received by Grade XII.

Happy Independence Day of Bangladesh!

Today, we proudly celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of our “Great Freedom Fighters” who fought for our freedom. On this historic day, we remember the struggles of 1971 and honor the heroes who made our independence possible.

Let us continue to uphold the values of unity, resilience, and patriotism as we work together for a brighter and stronger Bangladesh.

Today was a truly memorable and inspiring day for our school.
We had the distinct honour of welcoming the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Muscat and Chief Patron of Bangladesh Schools in Oman, H.E. Rear Admiral Khondkar Misbah ul Azim NBP, NPP, ndu, afwc, psc, PhD, along with the Honourable Labour Minister, Mr. Mahmudur Rahman, and Labour Counsellor, Maj. Mohd. Rafiul Islam.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence of all members of the School Managing Committee and the Principal of Bangladesh School Sohar, who presented a thoughtful and forward-looking plan for both academic excellence and infrastructural development.
Despite their busy schedules, our distinguished guests spent over four hours with us. What stood out was not just their presence, but the depth of their engagement—meaningful discussions, practical insights, and a clear commitment to the progress of our institution.
Their visit reflects a genuine dedication to the welfare and advancement of the Bangladeshi community abroad. We are deeply grateful for their time, encouragement, and continued support.
This visit marks an important step and will undoubtedly help shape a stronger and brighter future for Bangladesh School Sohar.
