A HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR BANGLADESH SCHOOL SOHAR!
Alhamdulillah!
A cherished dream has taken another significant step towards reality.
On 28 August 2026, Bangladesh School Sohar proudly celebrated the Land Allocation Celebration Programme with immense joy, pride and enthusiasm. It was a historic and significant milestone in our journey towards fulfilling our long-cherished dream of establishing a permanent and modern school campus.
The programme was presided over by Engineer Mamtaz Uddin Morad, President of the Managing Committee, Bangladesh School Sohar. In his welcome address, he highlighted the significance of this historic achievement, acknowledged and expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to this journey, and called for continued cooperation and support in the days ahead.
The presence of our distinguished guests added great dignity and significance to the occasion.
The Chief Guest, H.E. Mr. Mahmudur Rahman, Chargé d’Affaires, Embassy of Bangladesh, Sultanate of Oman, delivered his valuable speech and shared his thoughts on this historic achievement.
The programme was also graced by the presence of Mr. Mohammad Qasim Al Shejawi, Head of the Investment Development Department, North Al Batinah Governorate, as the Special Guest.
Among the distinguished guests were Engineer Mohammad Ismail Hossain, Chairman, Board of Directors, Bangladesh School Muscat; Major Mohammad Rafiul Islam psc, Counsellor (Labour), Embassy of Bangladesh, Oman; and Engineer Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, Founder Member of Bangladesh School Sohar and President of the Managing Committee, Bangladesh School Saham.
In their inspiring speeches, the distinguished speakers expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for this remarkable achievement and called upon the Bangladeshi community to continue extending their valuable cooperation and support towards the future development of the school.
The programme was further enriched by the presence of the members of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh School Muscat, the Principal of Bangladesh School Saham, and the Principal and Vice Principal of Bangladesh School Jalan, whose presence and support greatly encouraged the school community.
The programme commenced with a beautiful Qur’an recitation by Khaled Reza, a Grade 10 student of Bangladesh School Sohar, seeking the mercy, blessings and success of Almighty Allah for this new chapter.
The entire programme was conducted and anchored by the Principal of Bangladesh School Sohar, Mr. Kamal A. Ambia, who guided the programme with professionalism and grace.
The members of the Managing Committee of Bangladesh School Sohar also delivered their speeches, congratulating the entire school community on this historic achievement and expressing their hopes, aspirations and best wishes for the future.
The inspiring presence and warm wishes of the former Managing Committee members and Founder Members added further meaning and significance to this memorable achievement.
The spontaneous participation of a significant number of guardians, students, teachers and staff made the celebration joyful, vibrant and festive. Their enthusiasm, happiness and heartfelt support reflected the strong sense of unity, love and community spirit that surrounds Bangladesh School Sohar.
This land is not merely a piece of property—it represents our hope, commitment, perseverance and a shared dream for a brighter future for our children.
Today, we celebrate the land. Tomorrow, we will build our dream campus. And together, we will build a brighter future.

বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহরের জন্য এক ঐতিহাসিক মাইলফলক!
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ! একটি স্বপ্ন বাস্তবতার পথে আরও এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধাপ এগিয়ে গেল। গত২৮ আগস্ট ২০২৬ তারিখে বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহর অত্যন্ত আনন্দ, গৌরব ও উৎসাহের সঙ্গে উদযাপন করেছে জমি বরাদ্দ উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠান।
স্থায়ী ও আধুনিক স্কুল ক্যাম্পাস প্রতিষ্ঠার দীর্ঘদিনের স্বপ্ন পূরণের পথে এটি ছিল আমাদের যাত্রার এক ঐতিহাসিক ও তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ মাইলফলক।
অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহরের ম্যানেজিং কমিটির সভাপতি ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মমতাজ উদ্দিন মোরাদ। তিনি স্বাগত বক্তব্যের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করেন এবং এই ঐতিহাসিক অর্জনের তাৎপর্য অবদান তুলে ধরে সকলের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে ভবিষ্যতে সার্বিক সহযোগিতার আহ্বান করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে সম্মানিত অতিথিদের উপস্থিতি অনুষ্ঠানটিকে আরও মর্যাদাপূর্ণ করে তোলে।
প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন হিজ এক্সিলেন্সি জনাব মাহমুদুর রহমান, চার্জ দ্য অ্যাফেয়ার্স, বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, সালতানাত অব ওমান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব মুহাম্মদ কাসিম আল শেজাওয়ি, প্রধান, ইনভেস্টমেন্ট ডেভেলপমেন্ট ডিপার্টমেন্ট, নর্থ আল বাতিনা গভর্নরেট। সম্মানিত অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোহাম্মদ ইসমাইল হোসেন, চেয়ারম্যান, বোর্ড অব ডাইরেক্টরস, বাংলাদেশ স্কুল মাস্কাট, মেজর মোহাম্মদ রাফিউল ইসলাম, পিএসসি, কাউন্সেলর (লেবার), বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, ওমান এবং বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহারের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সদস্য ও বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সাহামের ম্যানেজিং কমিটির সভাপতি ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোহাম্মদ হাসানুজ্জামান। বক্তাগণ আল্লাহর শুকরিয়া আদায় করে বাংলাদেশী কমিউনিটির প্রতি অনুরোধ জানান তাঁদের সহযোগিতার অব্যাহত রাখার জন্য। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত থেকে আমাদেরকে অনুপ্রাণিত করেন বাংলাদেশ স্কুল মাস্কাটের বোর্ড অব ডাইরেক্টরসের সদস্যগণ, বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সাহামের প্রিন্সিপাল মহোদয়, বাংলাদেশ স্কুল জালানের প্রিন্সিপাল ও ভাইস প্রিন্সিপাল মহোদয়গণ।
পবিত্রকুরআন তেলাওয়াতের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের শুভ সূচনা করেন বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহরের দশম শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থী খালেদ রেজা। এই নতুন অধ্যায়ে মহান আল্লাহর রহমত, বরকত ও সফলতা কামনা করা হয়।
পুরো অনুষ্ঠানটি পরিচালনা ও উপস্থাপনা করেন বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহারের প্রিন্সিপাল জনাব কামাল এ. আম্বিয়া।
অনুষ্ঠানে বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহারের ম্যানেজিং কমিটির সদস্যগণ বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন। তাঁরা এই ঐতিহাসিক অর্জনের জন্য স্কুল পরিবারকে অভিনন্দন জানান এবং ভবিষ্যতের জন্য তাঁদের প্রত্যাশা ও শুভকামনা ব্যক্ত করেন। এছাড়াও সাবেক ম্যানেজিং কমিটির সদস্যবৃন্দ ও প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সদস্যদের অনুপ্রেরণামূলক উপস্থিতি এবং শুভকামনা এই অর্জনকে আরও অর্থবহ করে তোলে।
অনুষ্ঠান শেষে মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তার কৃতজ্ঞতা আদায়ের নিমিত্তে দুইরাকাত শোকরানা নামাজ আদায় ও মোনাজাত করা হয়।
উল্লেখযোগ্যসংখ্যক অভিভাবক, শিক্ষার্থী, শিক্ষক ও কর্মচারীর স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত উপস্থিতি পুরো অনুষ্ঠানকে আনন্দময়, প্রাণবন্ত ও উৎসবমুখর করে তোলে। তাঁদের উৎসাহ, আনন্দ এবং আন্তরিক সমর্থন বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহারকে ঘিরে গড়ে ওঠা শক্তিশালী ঐক্য, ভালোবাসা ও কমিউনিটি স্পিরিটেরই প্রতিফলন।
এই জমি শুধু একটি জমির টুকরো নয়—এটি আমাদের আশা, অঙ্গীকার, অধ্যবসায় এবং আমাদের সন্তানদের উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যতের একটি সম্মিলিত স্বপ্নের প্রতীক। আজ আমরা জমি পাওয়ার আনন্দ উদযাপন করছি।
আগামীকাল আমরা গড়ে তুলব আমাদের স্বপ্নের ক্যাম্পাস। আর একসঙ্গে আমরা নির্মাণ করব একটি উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যৎ। বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহার — একসঙ্গে এগিয়ে চলি, ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ি।
