On the morning of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, A’soud Global School, Salalah, held a special ceremony to honor its high-achieving students in recognition of their commendable efforts throughout the academic year.

The event featured a variety of purposeful artistic performances, including musical and poetic presentations by the students, which reflected their remarkable talents and abilities.

The ceremony was accompanied by a visual arts exhibition showcasing the creative works of students from Grades 1 to 10, which highlighted their artistic skills and imagination.

The event was held under the patronage of Mr. Omar bin Bakhit Al Kathiri, Assistant Director of the Department of Private Schools at the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate. He expressed his appreciation for the students’ performance and praised the school’s commitment to nurturing talent and celebrating excellence.

May 20 - Global Perspectives Day at AGS! 🌍
A day of insight, collaboration, and real-world learning for our secondary students.

We’re proud to launch our Model United Nations (Model UN) Experience, where students will step into the roles of global delegates to tackle a significant international issue. Through research, teamwork, and structured debate, they’ll propose informed and innovative solutions — just like real diplomats do! 🕊️🌐

As part of their Global Perspectives curriculum, students are encouraged to:
✅ Revisit and consolidate key notes and case studies from the term
✅ Practise their public speaking and debate roles
✅ Aim to present confidently and independently, using notes only as support

This is more than just an academic exercise - it’s a chance to develop critical thinking, global awareness, collaborative skills, and leadership potential.
