نظمت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عمان بالتعاون مع الجمعية العمانية للمصارف جلسة توعوية عن الصحة المالية بعنوان ‘نحن استقرار مالي افضل’ والتي قدمها الفاضل سيف بن سعيد الراشدي مساعد المدير العام ورئيس الفروع في بنك صحار الدولي. وهدفت هذه الجلسة إلى تعزيز الوعي المالي لدى موظفي وطلبة الجامعة وتمكينهم من اتخاذ القرارات المالية السليمة.
“The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), partnership with the Oman Banks Association (OBA), organized an awareness session on financial health titled ‘Towards Better Financial Stability.’ The session was presented by Mr. Saif bin Said Al Rashdi, Assistant General Manager and Head of Branches at Sohar International. The session aimed raising financial awareness among the university’s staff and students, and empowering them to make sound financial decisions.

احتفلت كلية إدارة الأعمال والاقتصاد ب اليوم اللوجستي العماني2026، وهو حدث بارز خصص للاحتفاء بالدور الحيوي الذي يلعبه قطاع اللوجستيات في دفع عجلة النمو الاقتصادي في سلطنة عُمان وتعزيز الربط العالمي.
شهدت الفعالية تجمعاً للطلبة والأكاديميين والخبراء والمتخصصين في هذا المجال لتبادل الرؤى والمعارف، واستكشاف مستقبل الإدارة اللوجستية وسلاسل التوريد في السلطنة. ومن خلال النقاشات التعاونية، يسلط هذا الاحتفال الضوء على الاستراتيجيات المبتكرة وتطورات البنية التحتية التي تساهم في تعزيز مكانة عُمان كمركز لوجستي عالمي رائد.
The Faculty of Business & Economics celebrated Oman Logistics Day 2026, a significant event dedicated to recognizing the crucial role of the logistics sector in driving Oman’s economic growth and
enhancing global connectivity.
The event brought together students, academics, and industry professionals to share insights, exchange knowledge, and explore the future of logistics and supply chain management in the Sultanate. Through collaborative discussions, the celebration highlighted the innovative strategies and infrastructure
developments that continue to position Oman as a leading global
logistics hub.

15 of our 4th Year LTSM students attended the OQ Assurance Awareness Month Event today (5th May) at Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC gaining valuable insights into internal audit risk management and corporate governance They were also honored on behalf of the university in recognition of their participation and engagement.

Second year IBSM and Logistics students, supervised by their course instructor Dr. Farasat Bukhari, visited Sohar International Bank on April 22 as part of their Finance and Investment course. During the visit, they attended a lecture closely related to their course materials, gaining practical insights and real-world perspectives to enhance their academic learning.

Second-year IBSM students recently visited Omran Headquarters as part of their Introduction to Tourism course, delivered by Prof. Heba Aziz.
The visit offered valuable insights into Oman’s tourism development and the role of Omran in shaping the sector’s future.
