كلية مجان الجامعية توقّع مذكرة تفاهم مع جامعة هونغ كونغ للتعليم

استضافت كلية مجان الجامعية وفدًا من جامعة هونغ كونغ للتعليم برئاسة البروفيسور سينغ كاي لو، نائب الرئيس المساعد للتدويل. يأتي تعاون كلية مجان مع جامعة هونغ كونغ للتعليم عقب توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين المؤسستين. يهدف هذا التعاون إلى تبادل أفضل الممارسات، وتنظيم ورش عمل لتعزيز القدرات، وتطوير التدريس القائم على البحث العلمي، مستندًا إلى نقاط القوة المشتركة بينهما. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن جامعة هونغ كونغ للتعليم تحتل المرتبة الـ 20 عالميًا في تصنيف QS للتربية والتدريب.

Majan University College signs MoU with Education University of Hong Kong

Majan University College has hosted a delegation from The Education University of Hong Kong led by Prof. Sing Kai Lo, Associate Vice President for Internationalisation. MUC’s collaboration with EdUHK follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions. The collaboration involves sharing of best practices, capacity-building workshops, and advancement of research-informed teaching, building on the institutions’ joint strengths. The Education University of Hong Kong is ranked 20th worldwide in the QS rankings for Education and Training.

Our Story

The College is a subsidiary of Human Investment Corporation, a Kuwaiti-based company and its ultimate parent company is Kuwaiti Finance House.

Majan was established in 1995 as the first private sector College in Oman, and has continued to be at the forefront of higher education in the Sultanate ever since. In December 2017, Majan achieved full institutional accreditation from the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA), and maintained its reputation as a trailblazer by being the first higher education institution in the country to do so. Majan is located on a single campus in Darsait which is home to a multi-cultural academic community with more than a hundred staff from various countries and a student population of over 3,500. Majan is an accredited college of the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, Oman.

It offers undergraduate programmes in Business Administration with 8 pathways, Finance, Accounting, Islamic Banking and Finance, Computing, Marketing, Computer and Internet Applications, E-Business, Networking and English Language. These are delivered in both full time and part time mode.

The Master programmes offered include MBA, MA in Applied Linguistics, MSc in Computer Sciences, and MA in International Human Resources Management from the University of Bedfordshire.
