Local Area Representatives & Exam center - London College of Music Examinations (Oman) Classic Music & Arts Institute was established in 2007 as the first affiliate music school to our parent company, Tunes Trading & Services (Tunes Oman). Tunes is the first leading music retail and events rental company in Oman. Founded in 1991, by Zak Pachiyannakis, the company began when Zak was looking to buy

a piano for his children. After not being able to source one in Oman, he decided to import one for himself which lead to a number of similar requests from across the Sultanate. Tunes Oman is now the largest importer of musical instruments with four retail locations and two music institutes. We focus on spreading music to children and adults while providing a fun yet professional learning environment. Today our music schools enroll over 800 students annually ranging in age from 15 months old to over 60 years. We offer a comprehensive, hands on approach using techniques such as voice, sound, rhythmic activities, instrumental instruction, games, and music theory. Our curriculum is carefully tailored to provide appropriate and unique learning materials for every student. Our faculty includes highly qualified instructors with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Their education credentials include Bachelor Degrees, Masters and a Doctorate. New students are provided with an introductory assessment to evaluate their needs, identify their preferred instrument, and create a suitable and individualized program. We are an approved examination center of the Trinity College of London, providing an internationally accredited and formal assessment process. We continue to develop our programs and supporting materials to offer the best and most flexible opportunities in music education.

What a fantastic day at Tunes – Markaz Al Bahja on June 1st, 2026! 🎢✨

We were delighted to welcome the Scouts "Squirrels" for a special Music Exploration Day filled with music, creativity, learning, and lots of smiles! πŸ’›

The young explorers enjoyed discovering a variety of instruments in our showroom, getting hands-on with guitars, drums, keyboards, and percussion instruments while learning about some of the world's leading music brands. 🎸πŸ₯πŸŽΉ

Our teachers introduced them to the wonderful world of music through interactive activities, rhythm games, singing, movement, and instrument exploration. The students learned about musical notes, rhythm, high and low sounds, and even had the chance to try beginner-friendly instruments. 🎢

The excitement continued with a fun drum circle, creative arts activities, and engaging movement sessions that kept everyone energized and involved throughout the day. πŸŽ¨πŸ’ƒ

Beginning classical ballet at the age of seven, they later expanded their training to include contemporary dance, theater dance, and tap. In 2013, they performed in theater and tap productions in Seattle and participated in the summer dance program at Cornish College of the Arts.

In 2017, they joined Melbourne City Ballet as an Emerging Artist, touring Tasmania as part of the company’s program. They subsequently performed in both contemporary and ballet productions with Danceborne Arts, where they also contributed as a teacher and choreographer at its affiliated school. Alongside this, they taught students of various ages across multiple dance and ballet schools in Melbourne.
In 2021, they worked as a dance performer in Turkey.
Following further work in Japan as both a dancer and instructor across ballet, contemporary, and theater dance we would like to welcome her to Oman.
