A significant workshop on Bloom’s Taxonomy, TOS (Table of Specifications) and Paper Making was conducted today in the Senior Block by the Principal Mr. Gul Rahim. The workshop focused on professional development and capacity building of teachers by strengthening their understanding of modern assessment techniques and effective paper-setting methods. Faculty members attended the session enthusiastically and actively participated in discussions and practical activities.

During the workshop, he emphasized the importance of adapting effective methodologies in the teaching & learning process to ensure better student outcomes and academic excellence. The session provided valuable guidance on preparing balanced question papers and promoting higher-order thinking skills among students. The workshop concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants, who found the session highly informative, practical & beneficial for their professional development.

A significant lecture on “Haqeeqat-e-Haj and Paigham-e-Haj” was conducted today at Pakistan School Muscat. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Zahid Qamar who highlighted the spiritual importance and universal message of Haj. He emphasized the values of unity, sacrifice, patience, obedience and devotion to Allah, inspiring the audience with the true essence of this sacred pilgrimage. The faculty members attended the session with great interest and highly appreciated the informative and thought-provoking lecture. The session concluded with a renewed understanding of the teachings of Haj and their practical significance in everyday life.

On Thursday, 21st May 2026 at 5:30pm, Oman Cricket organized the 'Prize Distribution Ceremony' for 2025–26 league matches at Oman Cricket Academy.

Pakistan School Muscat Under-16 Cricket Team stood as runners-up in the 30-over league tournament, in which 12 schools participated. The team displayed outstanding cricket throughout the tournament with excellent teamwork & fighting spirit.

Congratulations to all the cricket team players, the Sports Department and especially Mahbeer Sheikh who was declared the 'Best Bowler' of the Tournament for his excellent bowling performance throughout the league.

Strengthening instructional excellence through research-based teaching practices.

A comprehensive professional development session on Explicit Instruction and Barak Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction was successfully conducted by Head of Junior School Madam Zile Huma for KGs to Grade 4 teachers.
The training emphasized strategic, step-by-step classroom instruction focused on reviewing prior learning, presenting new concepts in small steps, guided practice, effective questioning, modelling, checking for understanding, and ensuring active student participation.
The session aimed to align classroom practices with high-impact teaching strategies that promote clarity, confidence, engagement, and meaningful learning experiences for every student.
