The 8th IT Exhibition was held under the theme “Digital Sparks: Student Businesses in Action” at D Block , with the participation of General Foundation Programme IT students.
The exhibition included a variety of student technology and business projects, interactive activities, and competitions, in addition to an awareness lecture about the importance of technology and its role in developing future skills.
The exhibition aimed to encourage innovation and creativity while connecting academic learning with practical skills and labor market needs.

The Mechanical (Well) Engineering students conducted a site visit to PDO Knowledge World, where they explored key aspects of the oil and gas industry through interactive exhibits and industry-focused displays. The visit provided valuable insight into real-world engineering applications, enabling students to connect their academic learning with practical industry practices. Experiences like this play an important role in enhancing students’ understanding of Oman’s energy sector and preparing them for future careers in the field.

في إطار تطوير المختبرات وتعزيز الشراكات الصناعية، استقبلت الكلية الدولية للهندسة والإدارة زيارة وفد من شركة GWDC، حيث قام الوفد بجولة ميدانية في مختبرات الكلية.

وشهدت الزيارة اجتماعاً مثمراً مع قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية (تخصص هندسة حفر آبار النفط)، تم خلاله مناقشة سبل التعاون في:
• تطوير وتحديث مختبرات الحفر
• دعم التدريب العملي للطلبة
• تعزيز البحث العلمي التطبيقي
• توفير فرص تدريب وتعاون صناعي مستقبلي

وتأتي هذه الزيارة ضمن جهود الكلية لربط مخرجاتها التعليمية بمتطلبات سوق العمل، وتعزيز جاهزية الطلبة بالمهارات العملية والتطبيقية.
